1. Make your predictions based on the following.
Pole, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and fastest lap.

2. One entry per person, you can either enter before qualifying or at any point before the race start. Those entering before qualifying will score 2 points per correct guess. Those entering after qualifying will be score 1 point per correct guess and no pole guess will be accepted.

3. You can nominate the same driver for multiple race positions.

4. When making your guess write your guesses EXACTLY the same way as shown in this example,

Do not write pole, positions, names or anything else as this is exactly how I need it when I copy and paste to the spreadsheet. The order for the guesses is as written in rule 1.

5. The game is open to all GPM members.

6. If you are not able to enter or if you forget, your entry from the previous week will be entered so you still have the chance to score points. These will be entered at the pre-qualifying rate.

7. Your 5 lowest scoring results will be dropped from the final scores. This is in addition to rule 6.

All done and up to date.

As noted in rule 7 I'll be deducting the lowest 5 scores at the end. I was going to include that function on the spread sheet now but didn't because the only person it would really benefit was myself since I've scored 5 or more big fat zeroes. This means my score would remain exactly the same.

The main reason for adding this rule was for late comers as rule 6 covers people (carrying guesses forward) forgetting or being away.

So shall we operate on a "da rulez are da rulez" basis or a more sensible tweaking.

I think the "championship" positions should reflect all currently valid scores. So as there's 19 races, after 14 your score would be your total of all of them but after that it starts discarding them. Anything else gets a bit complex.

Also I don't see why the prediction thread for the next race can't be made as soon as the last race is over. There's nothing wrong with it hanging around for two weeks. I don't see any necessity in it coming out only a couple of days before the race.
