When they got the rights they promised to make a full on simulation version, for the PC anyway

Hope they do it for the ps3. I remember the first ever ps f1 game I played 97 I think it was, loved it - the assistance was great for a girl lol. I bought the one released after that 98 or 99 I cant remember exactly, but it was dire!

They say it will have a sliding bar for novice to extra realism.

They say it will also have decent wet weather physics.

Sounds cool.

Apparently they've come up with a weather system where puddles and rivers can form on the track, and sections of the track can be wet whilst others are dry. Also after the rain stops, a proper 'dry line' will build up, depending on the actions of the cars. I know this was also the case in GP4... but it's pretty new for a console game.

yes is coming for the PS3 as well as the 360. if the last F1 game you bought was 98 or 99 then you missed F1:CE on the PS3. is i suggest you give it a try as its a pretty good F1 racing game and Codies will have a hard job to follow it especially after the avarage game that F1 2009 was on the PSP and Wii.

PS3 and Wii are totally different though aren't they. F1 2009 wasn't made by Codemasters, it was licensed by them, but made by 'Sumo Digital', basically a way of pumping some quick cash out of the rights they've held for so long without releasing a game. Their game for the next-gen HD consoles looks stunning.... and they're releasing more HD pictures tomorrow at 2pm...

It might sound like I'm being sarcastic but I'm not. Old racing games tended to let themselves down by being too "arcady" in their format - you just had to complete one race to get to the next. This always pissed me off. Why not just have a fucking championship?
