F1 the Movie

'Pete_f1' dropped us the news that Bernie Ecclestone has signed away the rights to create a film based on F1. Scheduled for release early next year, GPM expects this to be truly appalling. Will F1 race to victory at the oscars, or do you expect something appalling?...

HRT

'Sgt.Pepper' isn't too sure of the new for 2010 'Hispanic Racing Team', unlike team boss Colin Kolles, who naturally expects the team to do well later this year. Is his confidence misplaced? The car has yet to have a shakedown, but the team seem to think they're onto a good thing. How do you think they'll fare in their first season?

New F1 game

As the 2010 season gets into gear, Codemasters is hard at work making the latest F1 game. Available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, the screenshots released so far look excellent. 'Chuff' enjoyed some joystick fun with F1'97 for the PSone, while 'Skies' is nostalgic, harking back to the early days of F1 games on his commadore 64. What was your favorite?...

In other news...

Bad week for: Jacques Villeneuve
10.03.2010After coming close to re-joining the F1 grid with the stillborn 'Stefan GP', Jacques Villeneuve finally secured his return to F1 on Friday this week. Unable to find a race seat however, he had to console himself with a stand-in job commentating for BBC Radio in Bahrain. Maybe next year Jacques?...
Good week for: McLaren
11.03.2010As they look forward to a fresh campaign, McLaren heard today that their controversial rear wing will be allowed for 2010, after Redbull threatened to protest the innovative piece on their car...
Fantasy F1
'Skies' has set up a FREE fantasy F1 championship for the 2010 season, and there's still time to enter. Head along to the thread on the forum, or click here to enter your team! Good luck!!
